Default Monte Walsh
Here is my version of Monte Walsh. I was very happy to get a Second Best of Show at the Townsend Festival with him. I didn't get my tag in time so I had to make do. Mac and the Smokey Mountain woodcarvers put on a fantastic event. 517 entries. Anyone who missed it should plan to attend next year. Oct 1 & 2 I believe. Thanks to Lynn also for pulling Ol' Reliable out of our tool box and into our carving box! (Still bought 3 knives though...)

Jeff hes outstanding! Sorry I missed him while I was taken picts. Winning 2st at that show,is like wining the grand prize with alot of great carvers that didnt even place. I wish Id got to talk with you more,just haven to ck on my wife with the dogs in the car plus the heat was hitting me hard down there.

I like how you carved his gun bigger,alot cowboys guns are too small on some Ive seen. Plus your painting is right on spot on this cowpoke.
Thanks for sharing him,nice for my eyes here this morning.
