Default Monte Walsh

Starting a new project over at the Out West Blog. Just watched Monte Walsh starring Lee Marvin and thought that would make a good character study. Just posted the first of the patterns if you want to follow along. Should be fun.

Look forward to it Lynn. I was about to do some characters from Silverado . I think they may have to go on the back-burner!

Talk about Deja-Vu ... I watched that movie yesterday and thought what a great subject Lee Marvin would make for us carvers. Thought about you Lynn... Also you came to mind when I crossed the 6666 ranch a few weeks ago. What an interesting place!

Ed...Did you stop at the Ranch store in Guthrie? I have my coffee each morning out of a 4-6's cup I bought there years ago.

Didn't get to stop this time Lynn. We are crowded for time to attend a friend's funeral in Lubbock. Sure did enjoy seeing the country and watching some cowpokes move a small bunch up a draw. If I get to make the trip again, I will stop. They moved the highway about mile south of town so you don't get to go by the store unless you are actually heading there.
Red Stegall was talking about the 6'es today on his radio show. I enjoy that too.
