Default Meet Frankie Linquinie

Meet Frankie Linguini. Known by many but loved by few. Frankie has a face that only a mother could love.... maybe. Known for being involved in things he shouldn't be. Has the local game action covered and also the man to see if your short on money ... you just don't want to be late paying!

Frankie is carved from a basswood hen egg. Painted in acrylics and oils and finished with oil and satin lacquer.

Thanks for looking as always.

Corey

Corey, That's a very nice one for sure. I have yet to try carving a basswood egg. I would think you'd have to have one strong hand to hold on to the egg when carving. Does the fact that the egg has no corners make it harder to hold on to? Again, yo gangsta is right on. Good piece.

Hi Corey, You got a lot of expression from that little egg. Nice job. Merle

Thanks Gene, Morgan, Cliff, Tom and Merle. Tom, yes it is a little bit harder to hang on to than a block for the reasons you state. When I did the Santa egg, it was a goose egg, I thought it was harder to hang on to than the smaller hen egg here. It's not to bad though but you definitely want to have your glove on ( I wear two) and I tape my thumb up good with Vetrap.

Thanks all!

Corey
