Default Meet David

David is carved from butternut and is 5 1/2 tall 1 3/4 w x 1 3/8 I carved dave from a picture in my mind . dave is always up early on sat to go get his weekly supplies in town and stops by the trade lot when time prements.thanks for looking.

Hobo .. That style is definately your own and I love it .. The butternut is beautiful and the grain mixed with the figure gives it that worn look ...

Excellent carving Hobo and your figures are always a favorite of mine .. excelent style ..

Hey Hobo! nice piece. Looks like it just came off the top shelf at an antique store. (Top shelf being the expensive ones). I like the looks of your pieces.

He has a distinct look. I like the beard and mustache you gave him. The little space you provided between the arms and his body adds to the look you gave him. Nicely done.

Looks like you found another one of those good pieces of butternut. I really like this guy. You should take him up to the JC show this weekend. Really nice work!

Is that wood from the tree you were telling me about down in Charlotte??
