Great, job on Mark's Santa ornament roughout Mark Akers! I thank everyone is going to want to do one now including me. Love your avatar! I'm curious have you and Mark Gargac ever meet in person and carved together? I'm thinking you two would make a fantasic teaching team.
Kathy

Excellent job Mark!
Set yours next to Mark's original carving and you wouldn't see much difference except in the face. You got the hair down perfect!

Great work Mark, if I can figure out a way to live another 10 or 15 years, I might be half as good as you. Keep 'em commin bud, we love to look at them.

I enjoyed viewing your ornament Mark. Something I haven't tried yet but from your result I may try one soon. Mark G. has influenced a lot of us here on the board. We are very fortunate to have instructors to mentor us on-line.

Mark,
Excellent work on the roughout. May ahve to try one of those myself just to see of I can come close to matching the quality of Mark Gargac and your carving skills. May have to revise my finishing techniques a bit as I like the subdued soft look of your carvings! Thanks for sharing!
