Default Maestro Violinist

Hello everyone,
Again, I apologize for neglecting the board lately - I have just moved my studio to a new location and will take another week or two to get back to normal.
I took a break from all the mess and everything that still needs to be done and finally did some of the finishing touches on my Maestro Violinist.
Hope you will like him - I really enjoyed working on this one and cannot wait to get back to the Cellist.
Fred

Excellent, excellent sculpture Fred! Is it my imagination or can I see the tendons and veins in the back of the hand? The flow of the hair and clothing is truly outstanding. I believe the best aspect of the carving is no matter how many times I view it I seem to notice something additional with each subsequent viewing. I'm afraid my words don't do it justice. Your talent is amazing. Thanks for sharing!

Fred,
Do you paint with oils or acrylics, you have such a beatiful finish. We have seen carvings ruined with the finish. Your work is superb!!!

Just amazing, I like the flow of the carving, the color contrast and the working of the hair with the face. Like I said, just amazing.
