LYNN, You truly have mastered the elements of imagination, design, tool use, and finishing. When anybody asks me about wood carving, I always direct them to your site so that they can see this mastery. Thanks for sharing. Tom H

Well lynn,

you didnt miss a lick,
the fine clean line details, shows your always thinking about your charters, and the subject is something you know about.

the facts of rolled up blue jeans even the inside factory hem. rivits, fasteners and buckles so real looking you could use them. conchos, spurrs and the well weathered hat complete with sweat stains, it all fits, and all works, without being too busy, a treat for the eye!

another fine carving.
when i grow up i only hope i can carve and paint 10% as good as you.. !
thanks for the insperation.... and sharing your tips and methods especially on the trick of freezing time, frozen in the blink of an eye as the coffee poured from the cup..

Wow! I wish that I could produce a nice piece like that... but I guess I shouldn't cry over spilt milk, or "coffee" that is!

I can't say you have outdone yourself as I know your next carving scene will be awsome also. but you have talent most of us dreams about.
An awsome carving and like Ron, hope to meet you at Wichita.
I may have already at one of the Tulsa carving shows.
