Default Lumberjack

This guy is modified some from a Kaisersatt pattern. He's 8 inches tall and looks like he's cut down a tree or two in his time. I made him for my son as a gift to his father-in-law who worked in the logging business.

Joe V.

Very good job. Really like this one. He has the look of a man who has seen a lot of trees and a lot of other things. Really enjoyed this.

Safe Carving and God Bless,

Mark

Yea hes topped a few trees before and has the woren out face to prove it. The red top wool socks helped to keep his feet warm.He looks tired but lumberjacks have it rough!! Very nice carving plus your painting made him breathe just right! Your sons father-n-law with love it.

I enjoyed this lumberjack, thanks for sharing him.

Forrest

Thanks everyone, I'm glad you enjoyed him. Forrest--he's got those socks and a nice little hat and a warm plaid shirt too, it can be cold in the woods. Tom--I thought the plaid wasn't as good as it could be. Oh, that's why he's tired, he's been cutting basswood for all of you guys and just can't keep up.
