Question Looking for Chef roughout ?

My wife teaches Home Ec. in high school I was looking for a Chef roughout
because of my bandsaw skill are still new. Any ideas.

You can carve one from a square block (and not need the bandsaw). Well, not exactly square....more like a rectangle. You know what I mean.

I'll look around for some examples.

EDIT - I missed the "rough out" part.....

Moore Rough-outs and maybe Chipping Away - both have a good selection, but I don't know about Chefs. You may be able to modify one to fit your needs.

In his book Carving Blockheads Steve Prescott has a generic pattern that can be used for most any carving of different people.

i took a roughtout of phil bishop and did one--dont remember what it was supposed to be-- put a chefs coat on him-- a spatula in one hand and a skillet in the other--- guy who got it was thrilled

Chuck is correct. Phil & Vicki Bishop sell a roughout for a Chef.
