| | Lonesome Dove Well Folks I finally got around to photographing my entry into last years CCA competition. While I'm sad to say that I didn't win, I think I've learned alot from all of you on this board. Take a look and let me know what you think. Thanks. |

| | Re: Lonesome Dove I like it, its a good one! Enter it in a normal carving show...you will win! I don't like the CCA show for one reason, its just to boost the CCA carvers, any john doe (including me) is competing with top professional carvers...its not a fair competition in my opinion ...there should be classes..ie master, intermediate, novice etc and make it fair for everyone...this is my opinion and I know not everyone agrees...not sure how anyone would think it fair however set up like it is..............! |

| | Re: Lonesome Dove Tony I agree with all the others it's a keeper. Its a carving to be proud of. I also think by all the replies here it's a winner in our book. I think Hi Ho is right they need to have catagories that fit a diverse group instead of just one basic. Anyway that's my two cent's worth.
