Default A Li'l Sunday morning carving Inspiration

on a network television Sunday morning show they was doing a bit on the silver circus, i think its defunct now but what i cough was sunny kings work, as an circus orphan left at the circus he was adopted by the circus owner and traveled
along with the circus hes now 60 and started making these little scenes of the old days, amazing although made from clay, great inspiration though still..
i didn't see anything that couldn't be carved,,,,

Checked out the link. Remarkable stuff. You're absolutely right. Scenes like these are a challenge and fun for carver and viewer alike. Must admit I liked the clown best. Salgal

Usually a scenery happends when a carver is lacking aim and they got it on automatic, or rather that is how it happends to me, after carving one subject i need a little something to make myself feel better about the carving like a cow skull for a cowboy would emphisize desert osture location, otherwise the point of a slumped cowboy might be missed..
but adding sand and cactus sagebrush a buzzard busted wagon wheel would support further, but where do you quit, a ghost town in the distance??
