Default L'Alpino

Alpino is a soldier of the Italian mountain troops. The caricature represents a Veteran Alpino, dressed for the annual rally. Note the characteristic single-eagle-feathered headgear. Early this month, 500,000 veterans(you read correctly, five hundred thousand) gathered in the town of Bergamo (some 30 miles due east of Milan). They arrived from all overthe world. They paraded along the main street of Bergamo from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m.. YouTube - 83 Adunata Nazionale Alpini Bergamo - La sfilata 09-05-2010 - parte 7/15

Thank you guys for your support! I have started carving figures for 7 months. I have a lot to learn, but WCI is just great because I can get so many tips from your expertise.
