Jim, I carve at the local senior center one day a week. And as you may imagine the ladies out number the men by 200 to one. And I can match up each of your carvings to about a dozen of the ladies. I think your Ladies are perfect. Great job in carving and finishing...Tom H

Really cute! I love the faces on the soup vegies. But I guess Road Rage is my favorite. Great execution!

i like the idea with the negative space ... very creative, a pity noone understood it...nice carvings, not have seen very often ladies in caricature carving...ah, just proves i not know this field a lot, i guess...anyway, nice job done

My favorite is the road rage.Reminded me of my Mother. We laugh about her every time we see someone like this. Nice idea.

Thanks for all the kind comments. I enjoy doing the little old lady carvings and may try the soup lady again minus the negative space idea. I will post a couple more pictures of her tomorrow night. Trying to get a chess set well underway to compete it at CCA in September. Thanks again,
