| | Keeping A Weather Eye... Just got around to taking some pictures. Here is a picture of a recent carving (more pictures are in the Gallery). All comments and critiques welcome!!
He is carved from a single piece of basswood with the exception of the umbrella which is 3 pieces. He is painted with Acrylics, antiques with BLO, sprayed with Matte Deft, and waxed with Feed-N-Wax.

| | Re: Keeping A Weather Eye... Great carving and what a suitable time for him to show up, in view of the fact that we are in the middle of a two day snow storm here in Ontario Canada, very nicely done.

| | Re: Keeping A Weather Eye... Great job Tony .. good expression and look .. the over doing on the mustache really adds to that character..
The carving and painting both are excellent ..

| | Re: Keeping A Weather Eye... Again, nice job Tony. Really clean piece. Wondering about the shoes? European style? Poor man? Why not something British or stylish? Not that it has to be but a question of why you chose not to or perhaps you didn't even ask yourself?
Really like the work.
