Hey All
This is one of Phil Bishops patterns, have had 4 scrap pieces of wood glued up four over a year and said why not. She stands 15'' & W D is 5'' that's the hat. Acrylic Paints,Polycrylic Sealer,Cedar Base. Legs would have been a little larger but ran into a knot that went up and down her leg and in to the other. Finally got to just the spot you see and called in a low knee.

That's great, Curt! Nice job. And the thinner legs end up emphasizing her backside, to good effect. Really a nice carving.

Curt,
Very nice carving indeed. I too like the "emphasis" that you placed in certain areas. You leave no doubt to the other cowboys that she is all cowgirl. As always Curt, thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Merry Christmas and God Bless,

Mark

Cute...

I also find the legs ok for this one. It gives her a caricature distortion... More on the top, less on the bottom...

Hey Curt, you did a great job on your Gal. They say carving the female is hard, but you seem to have accomplished that obstacle and pulled it off. nice job. Merle
