Default Just Monkey 'n' Around.....

Hello, everyone.....on here only occasionally, as usual, due to life's committments, but thought I'd show you a monkey I did as a gift for someone. Actually, it was for me, but the person loved it so much, I will give it to her as a Christmas gift. For some reason, this one really gave me fits and it almost landed in my fireplace.....but I persevered. There's just something in me that can't let a hunk of wood beat me! LOL Here he is....Bonnie

NOW YOU HAVE DONE IT!!! Yea carving and posting a pict of me!! LOL You sure wasnt monkey'n around carving this cute guy!! I know you dont have the time to carve all the time but one thing? When you do its always such an original and unique one like this monkey!! Such a neat carving my friend!! Plus before I forget,he was doing the monkey bunny hop wasnt he?? LOL He was dancing like no one was watching,better known as a monkey getting down!!
Nice carving plus your painting is outstanding on him,you didnt miss a thing,hes purrrr fit!

Thanks for posting sharing him,made me grin{ohhh? kinda like he is}

Your ole Tn friend~Forrest

P.S his skin around his face,belly,hands and feet,look like the leather type on a real monkey plus you laid his hair just right as it also would be on a real monkey. You sure you didnt use a picture of me on this carving! {LOL} If he had a Go-T,he'd look like me, old Tn!

That's a great little monkey, Bonnie. It's a good thing you decided to finish it instead of throwing it in the fireplace. Thanks for sharing.
