Default Jacque-Trapper/Fur Trader

"After the big snow fall we had in our area last week, Jacque showed up the ply his trade and pick up a few coins. Unfortunately, all he was able to trap was a couple of beaver and a bobcat, not a very profitable trip. Anyway, good friendship and great stories." This is my version of one of Mark Gargac's Mt. Men. Hope you don't mind Mark. Jacque is 6'' tall and carved from basswood.

Thanks for looking.

Chuck

Dont worry about anyone minding?? Not when you can carved a mtn man this good in such a small chunk of bass wood.

Excellent carving plus your painting really fits him to a "T" for trapper!!

chuck, good looking carving! Wouldn't of known it was only 6 inches unless you had said it. Nice work!
