| | "Irish's" Migrant Worker Attached is my interpretation of Susan Irish's excellent drawing of "Tuckers" migrant worker picture. Basswood with acrylic paints, deft satin finish, size is 4 1/2" X 2 1/2".
Thanks for the drawing Susan and thanks Clif "Tucker" for putting out the earlier carving challenge.
Also atatched a picture of Susan's drawing she has posted earlier for reference. |

| | Re: "Irish's" Migrant Worker Thanks to all for your nice replies....
Three things that I was tring to learn while doing this carving was;
1) accentuuate the hair line on boths sides of his head and
2) blend the eyebrows into his forhead so I didn't end up with a buldging eyebrow effect and
3) create a wide but healthly looking nose.
He was a fun guy to carve and a great learning experience.
