| | Hurricane Dean Guy's As everyone knows now .. Our Texas coast was preparing for the worse in case Hurricane Dean turned toward Texas .. Erin really pounded San Antonio and Houston Texas , And then moved on to Oklahoma ..
Now Our Heavenly Father has spared us the hardache ... But this last week has been long work hours and preparation for that result as we at the plant were on 24 hour call working 16 hours a day ..
Thank you Lord we were spared ...
But some good things can come out of all things .. I did have some time to stop on call at the plant and whittle these guy's while waiting the long hours ..
So I guess you could say ... There are positives to all negatives ..
So I call them my little Hurricane Dean guys ...
They are 4 inch (larger guy) to 2 1/2 inch guys and carved in the falt plane style with a knife and a V tool ..
Hope you enjoy ..
Gene
I hope you enjoy them ...

| | Re: Hurricane Dean Guy's Gene, Thanks for sharing your great flat plane carving skills. These new little guys are right up there with your best. But I got a question. What happens to all of these "little guys" once you finish them? Are they on shelves, in boxes, given away, waiting to become parts of larger collections, or are you secretly assembling an armey to take over a small seventh world country?
