Default Hobo project update

I did a little painting today if you are interested.
I am documenting this project at the request of
the collector who will soon own it.

Thanks for posting the "instructional", Rick! I haven't really tried caricatures yet, but your stuff is inspirational......maybe one day when I feel real confident.

Thank you Rick. If you didn't take so much time to show us how to do it, maybe you would be finished by now At least you can send the queries ("How long does it take to carve something like that?") to the site so they can actually see for themselves.

Sometimes I just feel so dog gone incompetent ... Well I guess there's only one thing to do, get out the knife and paint brush ... practice, practice, practice ...

Rick,
What a wonderful carving you have so much character (No pun intended) in that carving. I just love the expression on both the dog and the hobo you have really captured it well. I am so glad you have the desire back, the world and us are much better for that. Inspirational to say the least, another masterpiece by Rick Ferry. Can you tell I am a big fan of yours.
Colin

Now "that" is some carving! Beautifully done Rick. Expressive, comical, endearing and whimsicle. Love the expressions.

Thanks, I hope to complete this before Christmas.

Colin, I started another carving last week; not bad huh?
It will be a lady hobo; something I have been hesitant to carve before.
