Default hillbilly's i found hanging around

here are some fellows i found hanging around in a block of basswood.the patterns are from the new mike shipley book.if you dont have this book it is a good one these little fellows are fun.hope you enjoy them and any comments are appreciated.

Nice ones Bart. The one with the ballcap looks a lot like my Brother in law. The other one looks like his wife. Not kidding. They are from the back hills of Misery(MO).

Nice clean cuts and great paint job. Two things I only dream about these days.

i guess they are members of one of those transient families that moves around. yours looks good also, great work.

Great job Bart! I wonder if any of them are hanging around my shop, waiting to be released. I am afraid if I tried to set them free now they would not be too pleased with how they might look. Tom H

Bart, I took a second look, they may be cousins, I think yours has the better genes. I need to give mine a bath. (BLO) I really like that book, I'm trying to work on Delmer now, but have many irons in the fire. Hope things slow down shortly.

i like that book too i think it is about the best book that has come out in awhile.i am on my third from the book and having a ball.they are fun little caricatures to carve,
