Default "hic"

Ok, I told you I'm slow. Don't get much time to carve, thus, this took me over two months off and on. It's a big thing when I finish something! Saw a version of this in Dave Stetson's "Caricature Carving". I altered it a bit, but it's his. Also had a lot of trouble with the right hand, so I had to chop it off and start from scratch. It was almost firewood, but I persevered. I am going to make my own label for the bottle, however....just thought I'd share at this point. I have a lot of "heroes" on this forum, so I genuinely welcome comments and criticisms. That's how I learn. Thanks for letting me share! Bonnie

Bonnie,
Nice job as that piece is difficult to carve. I like the paint and the expression on the face suggests holding the bottle may have been combined with sampling it's contents ;O)). Thanks for letting us share your work.
