Default heres one that is a favorite of mine, did it several years ago....

I had an odd shaped piece of bass scrap, and this little snake was hiding in it. to me, thats the fun of carving. I call it "one of those days"

Cute JD Jim. Years ago, I did a dachshund tied in a knot out of pine and gave it to my Daught since she had a little Dachshund. Titled it the same. Love your snake

Hey Jim, just keep checking around, you'll find a lot of neat ideas on here. If you are on cable, I strongly suggest you check out Gene Messers tutorials on youtube, that's where a lot of us got started. If you don't have cable a fellow carver BobT will send them to you on DVD for $4.00, (the best $4.00 you'll ever spend) Good luck. Just click on the tutorials section.
