Default Hello Meet Clyde

i have not posted anything in awhile so i thought i would, this is clyde i started him after the charlotte show and finished him yesterday. he is carved from a 2 1/2" x 3"x 12" block of basswood, finished with acrylic washes and howards feed and wax and a light coat of deft satin, haope ya'll like him.

Real nice job, Bart. I like his striped shirt and suspenders. Good lookin' finish too ... (I use the same method myself for finishin'.)

You did a really good job Bart with this carving,nice how you turned his head some and til'd his eyes to match in the same die-wreck-shun. I like also the good cuts{the folds} on his clothes and your painting. All in all,a really neat carving on your behalf Bart!

thanks everyone for the kind words, it was a fun project i have been doing alot of small stuff and just got back to the taller stuff.

not sure i will be in statesville, but we are planning on hitting dollywood in october. hope we do cross paths soon would like to meet you also.
