Here's one I've been working on for a while. I started it a couple of months ago, but with summer duties, work and a vacation I just got around to finishing it up this weekend. This is my way of giving some of my buddies who fancy themselves as "Great Hunters" ; a little ribbing. .... The "hunter" is 9" tall and the base is 15" long by 7" wide, everything except the base is basswood; the base is white pine stained with a min-wax oil based stain. Painted with acrylics and finished with 2 coasts of a water based varnish. |
