Default He gets the sign, checks the runner on 1st....

I just finished this piece last nite.
I had a head carved, chewing tobacco, and finally decided he had to be pitching for my team. The Chicago Cubs!
The bust is mounted on a piece of worm eaten cherry wood I got from a sawmill in Tripoli Iowa.
Some wood workers hate worm holes, some seek them out, I'm in between.
Anyway, I think this guy is my best effort so far, and hopefully I'll keep improving.
Comments and criticisms accepted equally. Happy carving guys and gals.

Thanks lynn, for pushing me to do better.

Great job, Jim. If the runner on first knows what's good for him, he'll stay put.
