Default Hankerchief print pattern needed

Looking the bigger part of the day on the net for cowboy neckerchif hankies or the print pattern i only found one,

of course if searching for pasily hankerchif on google i got thousands of hits, but only one and its too dang hard to try to minaturize in acrilic on a tiny neckerchief.

if somebody has a scanner and neckerchief could you please scan it for me please. or tell me how to duplicate the pattern with a toothpick....
the hankey is about thumbnail size it may have to be patterned with a needle. being so small..

I have a scanner and a neckerchief like the one in your thumbnail but I don't really understand what you want. Looks like you already have the same thing I would be sending. Maybe I'm dense?
Anyway I couldn't scan the whole kerchief as it is too big. More info please.

Doug, he's looking for a more simple pattern - one that he can copy on a smaller scale.

Thomp, I have seen a painted pattern much like an exclamation mark but with two extra "tails" or long parts (there's a name for it, but I can't remember it right now) and one dot.

I have used a two dot pattern - basically two dots painted side by side as one repeat. I use two different colors for the dots to make them more visible and interesting.

Doug,

im trying to find a example im capable of reproducing on a thumbnail sized wrinkled neckerchief i have carved on a old cowboy, but i want it recognizable as western like an old farmer or cowboy would use.
?pasley print?

i remember seeing one done, 3 white dots in a cluster with a black dot in the middle. or visa versa...

thanks for the aid in my plight,
I want to paint a thumbnail neckerchief on a charter.. but in my old mind i cant remember the pattern,

the pattern i posted is too busy,
any rendition of it i could make is way too much work this is my first real try at a cowboy
----
i probally just confused the issue more, but, my morinng meds just took me over starting the daily confusion and dizzy spell//

Don't now if this will help or not....this is the center portion of the border on a 24"x24" kerchief with the corner and central portions slightly different. If it is what you want I'll photo the whole thing and post it.

You have to remember....All painting is an illusion! You just have to make up a design that appears to be what you are after, that sounds hard but actually is easy, you need a piece of paper and your paints and experiment with some short brush strokes and dots etc.....and if it doesn't come to you, let the carving sit there until it does, because it will eventually! lol

I agree with the expermintation, Hi_Ho,

I played with the idea but with a 2 haired brush its still impossible, for the paint to lay thin enough in scale, so now im working with a needle on a painted piece of scrap same colors, to see if i can get the paint thin enough to flow from the needle for some scribing, if that dont work im going to repaint the hankey white then after it dries ill scratch the pattern in to reviel the white sections i want, then dab on a little black?

later ill post results,
but my biggest problem i had was remembering the pattern,, Al_Archey helped me greatly with the section he scanned..

thanks
