| | Re: Group Caricature Project II is Done!!! Thanks a lot Rick for selecting such a great piece. I really enjoyed working on it and appreciated that everyone stayed with the style of carving selected by Rick. It is something that I think should continue. I would participate in again at the drop of a hat.

I would also like to thank you for the great opportunity to participate in the carving. I really liked the style and can't wait to see the project finished with water colours.
Everyone will envy the eventual winner of the carving.
Maybe this is something to sell on E-bay and donate the money to a worthy cause.
Just a thought, that way there would be no loser's.

| | Re: Group Caricature Project II is Done!!! It was my pleasure to put this carving project together, but it was the carvers who made it happen.
It's difficult to tell by the picture, but this is a large carving with an auction value of around $300.00 - $400.00.
How do I know that?
I am contacted to appraise collections all the time.
Everything from a 30 piece H.S. (Andy) Anderson collection, to most recently, a 12 piece Emil Janel collection which appraised at over $35000.00.
I would not change the rules of project 1 or 2 (They will go to one of the carvers from the participants), but the next project is up for debate.
Yes, there is already interest in a Group project III. |

i would go for a project 3, and i think the next one we should do it and auction it off for a good charity.or something.

| | Re: Group Caricature Project II is Done!!! Count me in for Group Project III. I would like to participate either way...auction or drawing...I'm in!
I'm wondering if on the next piece if each carver who worked on it could somehow initial it or sign it. Rick, would it be worth more that way? Just a suggestion!
