Thumbs up Re: Granny Gets A Tattoo - Finished!

Lynn .. Went to the blog and got to see all sides and only one word .. Fantastic .. Love it .. The carving .. the subject .. all of it ..

How in the world do you get that lettering so great looking .. do you use a stencil .. or do you do it freehand ?
The caligraphy lettering is great on the door and window ..
It is beautiful Lynn ..

Wow .. what a great piece ..

Gene

Great job Lynn! I can see where you would get tired of lettering...

Lynn
First let me say that I just love that "Beer Thirsty" posted on your blog. Super-Super job. How did you do the printing on the carton and labels on the bottles? It looks perfect....Myron

Granny is quite a piece of work ;O). A great idea followed by a wonderful execution of the scene! Thanks so much for sharing it! Perhaps you could give us a little insight into the methods you use to do your sign painting! I use a few catalogs of press on lettering for drafting applications, choose the font I want, size it on a copier and trace it on to the wood, then paint. Do you use some of this method or freehand . Again wonderful work I hope to see at Dayton!
