Really glad your wife wasnt hurt as bad as yall might have thought! Thats the main thing and your old grandpa is just too cute plus I like his cane.Man you did a good job on him! Forrest

I'm new here, so I have to ask. AS far as your wife's ankle goes, did the doctor "strap" it or "strop" it? Sorry. Can't carve yet, so I have to try other things. LOL

Apologies to all for not responding sooner,
But my wifes' leg continued to cause pain and she had it x-rayed again, this time it was discovered that the thinner of the 2 bones in the lower leg (fibula?) has a small fracture so she had a plaster splint fitted which seems to help, at least she can now sleep.
So to all those that took the time, thanks for looking, and for your very nice comments. Keoma, yes, grandpa's hand is in his pocket checking for change for the grandkids <grin>.........and thanks Tn. always enjoy your works and stories and appreciate you taking time to look at mine.
Big Bob 777....hmmm, not sure, but plaster might do for a final polishing strop? lol
