| | Got eggs?! Hi all,
My name is Doug and I ‘m addicted to basswood eggs.
It all started at an area show last year and I can’t get enough carved a dozen so far. I just finished a knight and am starting on a pirate. I’ve only carved people (characters) thus far but am kicking around the idea of some animals.
Any other egg-addicts out there?
Just wondering, Doug |

| | Re: Got eggs?! Sludgeguy,
Welcome to the board! I haven't carved any eggs but I bought a few to play with at the last carving show. One of these days I'll get to them.
We'd love to see some of your carvings. You can either post them in your message or in the Carver Galleries. There's a link on the left hand side of the screen to get there.

| | Re: Got eggs?! Gary Mc: I really like that first egg you posted and how you added some color to just the eyes! I've done a few of my woodspirits like that for a most striking appearance. Thanks! |
