The little bird really made me smile. Thanks for sharing. He looks like some of my finches on these cold nights.

The dog.....duh? LOL

Love that bird, Tom. Uhm, I am planning on entering a carving (in Tri-cities) with a dude and a hound dog in a scene. Have the dude carved and the idea etched out, just so you know I am not copying you. My guy looks very different and I have not carved the hound (he won't have two heads)...so anyway I like yours. Will you be at or attending their show?

Tom, with a dog like that he could keep his nose to the ground and watch the trees at the same time. And that bird looks like some in the snow around here.

Tom, that is the first time I saw a two headed dog.
Very good! Carl

Very good Tom! As others mentioned, the bird has a great expression that fits his situation. Excellent job. The hound is definitely one of a kind.

That little birdie isn't happy he missed the trip south. The two headed dog scares me. Great carving, Tom, thanks for sharing.

Thanks to all of you for your remarks.

Corey. This is a pattern from Chris McBride on the coast, and she said carve both heads, and cut off the one your don't like. Well, I liked them both so I left them. He is a very efficient hound . I was thinking about eight legs, and two tails, but I guess I must have been drinking a little too much, so I stayed with the two heads. I like him. He's a good dog.

Kris, I should be at the show. I just don't know what to bring.

To everyone else, thank you for the nice comments.

Tom
