Default A Good Wolverine

This is a first try of many, need four by Christmas. He's a Michigan Wolverine in Ohio teritory, he has been "Buckeyed".

Next one I'll woodburn fur with larger hips and smaller head.
What kind of scene or base?

Thanks
Doug

Nice idea. You could start a collection - actually a pretty big collection - of "Buckeyed" mascots.

Doug, I love it! The whole thing, idea and carving. Although I do have a bias (retired from OSU). I agree bout the football field base. How bout just a green patch of grass with a few white yard lines.. Tom H

A wolverine (badger, hawkeye, etc.) does look better with a boot print in it, but I'm a University of Illinois fan.

I'll bet you could make a variety of those which would sell like hot cakes at tailgates.

I like him. Neighbor kid just signed a letter of intent to play for Tressel. You should like him 6'7 375.

True. Very polite mild mannered young man (like my son). His Dad was same size and passed away when he was a toddler. His grandfather grew up in Columbus area and he always wanted to play for Ohio State. Naturally his uncles and I want him to play at Penn State. Can't say I know many people who said no to Joe Paterno. It will be odd to root for Ohio State the next 4 years.

My brother lives and works in Ann Arbor so I find the carving hilarious.

I like him too, and bart's idea about a base is a great idea.
