Default Golf ball Faces

I started carving these to practice my facial expressions. I used this approach on basswood eggs at first but the golf balls are much cheaper and easier to come by for me. My family has liked every carving but I would like some feedback from other carvers. Please let me know what you think.

Nice work... keep it up. I like carving golf balls too inbetween other projects. It's a nice break and they are so easy to carve with a good sharp knife.

The golf ball faces are great ! Its hard to get alot of expression in such a small area, and it looks like you are able to do that. That is a very good tool to have and it will apply to all carvings. Eyes are the windows to the soul and I like the way you changed them up for different looks. Dont be afraid to experiment with the distance between the bottom of the nose and the top of the upper lip. This is another area that will really change expression. Epoxy them to a golf tee and mount them on a little wooden base and everyone will want one. good job and thanks for sharing.

You did a good job on those carvings I enjoyed seeing them. I did an Eddie Smiles today and took a carved golf ball to my doctor who is big golfer. No tee or anything this time and was really amazed at how happy it made him. (Eddie took a real wood carving of a dr)

Good job on the golf balls.
Try adding some colour. It makes them come alive.
