| | A gift for a friend Hi everyone,
Had a friend retire recently and knowing he was a Civil War buff, I just finished this one up to give him as a gift. He presented me with a small birehouse he made on a lathe out of about 4 different kinds of exotic woods.
He makes a lot of pens and over the years we complimented each others work. Hopefully, he will like it. Thought I would post it to share. The pattern was derived from about three different versions I combined into this one.
The carving is about 6" tall including the 1/2" base.
