Smile What are friends for? :-)

Like most of you on this forum I too have other intrests besides carving; one of them is an intrest in muzzleloading firearms and hunting. I must quickly add here that I'm much more sucessful collecting the firearms than I am at the hunting part of it .
Anyway back to my other hobby; I've come to know a fellow over the internet who also shares my intrests, but unfortunately he is confined to a wheelchair. This does not seem to slow him down much as he is a very successful hunter. So............................ for him I carved this little scene, complete with his dog "Chasse" who is a chocolate lab. and has a nasty habit of marking his territory on everything.
My friend thought it was great and I'm hoping that you will feel the same
I realize that not everyone is in favour of hunting and it's not my intention to provoke any such debate, so MODERATORS if this is a problem please feel free to delete I will understand
Wayne

What a great little scene and what a great tribute to a feela that's less fortunate than the rest of us, good to see it doesn't get him dowm. I'm sure he will cherish that carving forever.

Hi Wayne. Very nice carving and very nice thought. your friend should realy appreciate it. I don't think that you will upset anyone with your carving, it doesn't bother me at all. Merle

You nailed it very well and did a great job on this little carving and Im sure your hunting friend will love it! Once again,a super neat carving that has meaning!

Forrest

P.S The best friend Ive ever had and his name was Bo,my blk lab. We didnt hunt but that old dog would go ck on my daughters at nights when I asked him too to make sure they was in bed and asleep. I also could lay my bildfold on a side walk, tell him "watch" it Bo,he'd spend the night watching my bilfold if I wanted him too plus no one could pick that bilfold up.
