| | Flat Plane golf ball guy These flat plane carvings have really got to me thanks to Gene Messer, the more I do of these guys the more I like them. The little guy is only three inches tall and made from basswood and the cage is also basswood. I have finally found some fishing bobbers and will attempt to put one in a cage next week.

| | Re: Flat Plane golf ball guy Another nice one there Cliff! You are coming right along! Did you soak your cage in alcohol before popping the ball in? Great work!

| | Re: Flat Plane golf ball guy Blake, no, I soaked it in warm water for about 3/4 of an hour, you realize you have to cut the back hole slightly larger to pop the ball in, it's only about 1/16 on each side (maybe just a tad more).
