Default Flat Plane Fellows

Havent had much carving time away from long nights at work ... But these three little fellows were conceived while on the road at The hospital clinic one day .. Waiting for my sister to see the doctor .. and a long boring graveyard one night ..

All of them are 3 inches tall .. all of them flat plane . and all with a knife ..

Doing these little guys are what keep me sane ..

Hope you like them ..

Gene

MA, burning and carving is not the same as playing with matches and knives.

Gene these are great, love them. Can I ask you, do you plan the particular face on each one or does it kind of just happen with each being a little different. I know you can make a smile or frown but otherwise do they just kind of happen or are they planned. Would love to see the back of the one with his hands behind his back. The first 1 is my favorite with his stance but they are all great!

Gene, as usual, great little guys, dang, I'm so envious of your work. I think I have finally realized where I'm having the difficulty, I think I'm trying too hard for perfection (realistic look) where as you let it all hang out. If I could just bring myself to copy the very rustic look you achieve with each piece I think I could over come. Gonna work hard at it for sure (I've got lots of time, wood, and a large scrap box) and besides I'm havin fun. Thanks for posting they sure are refreshing to look at.
