Default "Fishing buddy"
I posted this guy on the chainsaw forum but I think he fits in better over here. Carved from single walnut log (fish added) 35" tall. The inspiration for this carving was a hyperactive beer swilling friend of mine who thinks of nothing but fishing sunup to sundown, rain or shine. Partially stained part acryllic paint, antiqued.Satin poly finish, thanks for looking, Mark.

Great expression and form. Your style is strong and unique. Although he may have gotten the big fish - you wound up with the best prize!

I like him, and I agree with the others, you have a nice style. I wouldn't take him fishing though--he's too good a fisherman.
