Default Fish fear me

My brother asked me a few weeks ago if I could carve a Retirement gift for a gentleman that he works with by the name of Yogi. Appearantly Yogi would rather fish than breathe. Usually my brother knows when Yogi has a good day fishing because he brings him a big mess of Trout to enjoy. Yesterday afternoon I took this carving to my brother to give to Yogi. I've never met the man, but I've heard he is quite the caricature. I know my brother will miss the relationship he has with Yogi. Hopefully this carving will remind Yogi of his favorite past time.

As always, comments and suggestions are appreciated!

Blake

That is a good one Blake. I like it a lot. Very thoughtful gift too. I am sure it will be cherished for the rest of Yogi's life.
Wonderful work.

Thanks guys! Maybe one day I will get to meet Yogi. My brother said his attitude is about 2' taller than he is. Appearantly he is a big cut up....he's always telling the guys he works with that he will cut them "long deep and continuous" if they mess with him. He's 70 and sounds like he is a big kid at heart! I'm sure he will enjoy retirement on the river bank!

Thanks Brnadant! I just got a call and the new owner was thrilled with his carving! It's nice when other people appreciate the work that goes into something like that.
