| | Re: First carving ever Hey, that's a great carving for your first one! Keep up the terrific work. I was wondering.....I have several Cypress knees that I bought on a trip to Louisiana but they still have the bark on them and I don't have a pot large enough to boil them. Do you know of an easy way of getting the bark off without having to boil them? I'm anxious to try my hand at the knees and see if I can come close to your talent ! | | Re: First carving ever Terrific, Karen! Just think, you are going to get much better with practice. One day you will look back on your first carving and it will look crude to you. This is something that happens with everyone and it will happen to you, too.
