First Caricature Animal... Old Homer Hound

Here is my first animal. I really enjoyed this one even though it took me 5 -6 hours to do it. Thanks to Gene Messer for his great video series on this. I have a couple more from Waltner's book cut out and ready to do. Anyway, I have to think about how I want to paint it. Thanks for looking, critques welcome!

Way to go Corey, I'm in the middle of that one myself, just been so dang busy I haven't had a chance to work on it, hopefuly I'll git 'er done this week. You did a nice job on yours, hope I can do as well.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate it. I planned on doing 2 or 3 of Waltner's Dogs today but I guess I am just slow... but that's ok. Time just flew by! It was a fun to do project and it was great to have Gene's video which I probably watched 20 times before I did it. I will paint it, but just don't know what colors I want to do on it yet.
