Default First Caricature

Hi,

I attended one of Pete Leclair's seminars at the Carvers Conference in Kitchener Ontario last weekend. When I got home, I couldn't wait to try some of the things I learned. I whipped this guy off and I was amazed at how much better he turned out than previous attempts.

It looks real good. Did you use a pattern or just the one in your head. Ron

Great grin, great carving. Well done. You're hooked now, there is no going back to BC ....(before carving).

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

Ron, I didn't use a pattern on him, I just started carving and this was the result. I was really just playing around with some different techniques and he just sort of took shape.

Jim and Bob, you guys are right, I started another one last night. I've got a golfer, a Great Blue Heron and a Prairie Falcon on the go but I just had to try another head. :-)

Chris.
