Default First bottle stopper

Just trying something different. I did this one from Pete LeClair's book and am working on another one. Still have a little trouble with eyes. One day I hope it will work and I can carve eyes with out thinking about it. I always save eyes for last.

Nice work Don. Great looking stopper! Pete's eyes are not that difficult to carve if you go to one of his classes. Trying to pick it up from his book can be difficult at times.
Good work!

Very nice Don. The eyes look just perfect to me. You definitely need to do some more of these stoppers. I too have trouble with the eyes and wait till the end to do them. Maybe thats why I end up with so much kindling wood. Great job, do more.

MA, burning and carving is not the same as playing with matches and knives.
