Default Finished Pieces of a new woodcarver.

The First Photo is my first attempt at a gnome based upon an instructional design booklet from Lauara Dunkle I got at my first woodcarving expo.

The Second photo is 4 I made for Christmas Presents and progressed with my design even though they didnt look anything like the origional design.

The Last Photo is my newest Gnomes I made for a Family member.

Des nice going and the fact that you are developing your own designs shows you are comfortable with experimenting which is great. keep up the good work and keep us posted on how you progress

Its not so much that I was experimenting its just what turned out when I tried to follow the pattern.

Nice carving and painting. Don't worry about them not looking like the pattern. I still cann't get my finished carving to look like the pattern or idea I started with.
