Default Female caricature

Who has written the best book on carving female caricatures? I would like to broaden my horizon and add some female figures to my work. Any other suggestions will be appreciated.

Scott

Harold Enlow also has a book on cowgirls I think. Don't recall who put it out.

I think Phil and Vicki Bishops have done some of the best female caricatures but they don't have a book out on the subject.

I also think Harold Enlow is good for western female figures. If you want a more serious look Ian Norbury if I spelled it correctly.

Ken
I'll be going to our Bishop seminar in Great Bend this summer and will keep that in mind. In the mean time I thought I would find a good study guide.

Enlow has just about the only book with female caricatures that actually look like females. I've attached a photo of one I did which is the type of lady I think a lonely wrangler would like to meet out on the range. Sorry, don't have a book. But your welcome to use it as a go-by.

Sorry, couldn't post the photo as it was posted to an earlier thread.

Search for a thread by Doug Ridley with the title of "School" It's still there!!

The WoodCarver E-Zine http://carverscompanion.com/Ezine/WWWEzine.html has several women caricatures by "Ol' Don" Burgdorf. For example, here's one of a female clown: http://carverscompanion.com/Ezine/Vo...4FrameSet.html
