I mentioned previously I had a few faces carved on the corner of a block. Have several more, just no pictures yet. The techinque I learned from Pete LeClair at a seminar in DollyWood. Pete is an excellent teacher and says he can carve one of these in about 20 minutes. I would rather not discuss how long it takes me to carve one ;O) so I'll just post and hope you enjoy! Jim OH |

These are very nicely done. A great range,,differences in expression,features,characteristics.No repeats of the same head with a different hat or beard,,,I like that,,and these as well. Good job.

man i'm glad i dont carve that good, my kinfolk beat a path to my door as it is getting me to carve them som'pin... i would never get shed of them... great job, it looks like you didnt waste no money on them lessons from pete
