Default Even a blind squirrel...

It's a beautiful day here in Rochester as fall approaches so me and the spousal unit decide we should attend one of our favorite festivals here...the "Clothesline Arts Festival" held at the local art museum. We love to go as there are some great artists and we enjoy strolling looking at the various artwork.

Well this an event for the art museum and after paying our nominal entrance fee I noticed they were having a used book sale. I begged Miss Sue to allow an indulgance and asked if I could take a peak...after looking threw tons of auction magazines and books related to artists I'd never heard of, there sat this huge coffee table book about Norman Rockwell..the book had over 600 images of his artwork...I quickly put on my bib to catch the drool as I desparately searched for the price...I asked a fellow shopper and he found it for...$10...SOLD!!! (the pulp alone it took to print this book is worth that measly price)

Soooo... if you are ever hearing of a book sale, even better one being held at an art museum it can be worth a look as one can never have enough reference material!!

Sounds so familiar Tony, we also had a big book sale here in Salem, Indiana over this past weekend. I searched and searched for anything on C.M. Russell but was not as lucky as you. Congrats on your find…..Myron
