Default Dwarf Bust

I thought that I would post my latest endevor. This is a bust of a dwarf carved out of basswood. He stands about 11" high including the base. I hope to get around to painting it this weekend.

I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. It was a lot of fun figuring out just how to pose him and and getting all of the addons to fit just right. Please give me your honest opinions and where you think I might improve. Kudos are nice but helpful advice is even better.

Looks great Brandant,

Like the chainmail on his arms great detail.
Might consider making the shield strap a bit thicker for a little better definition. But when it is finished it may look more defined anyway.

Looking forward to seeing it finished. Great carving like the design a lot.

Thanks for sharing,
Doug
