Soggy,

Very nice job on the carving, painting and positioning of the Scene.

However, I would like to ad one criticism. If the scene is outdoors as the stump suggests, the plain flat base detracts from the outdoor feel of the piece (IMHO). If the scene was indoors, carving a pattern in the base to suggest a rough wooden floor would add cohesion to the scene.

Carver 33 you are absolutely right about the base (actually you are the second person to bring that to my attention). And I appreciate the critique. It's only when others point these things out that we are able to improve our our future carvings
